I'm biding my time, as I wait for Spring, by revisiting programs I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this past year, like Monty Don's Italian Gardens, a 4-part series which aired last April on BBC Two.
In this excerpt from episode 3 - 'The South' - Monty takes us to visit the romantic Giardino di Ninfa. Set in a ruined medieval town in the region of Lazio, province of Latina, it's one of my favourites. Hope you like it too.
This is definitely his niche. I couldn't really warm up to him, at first, when he started hosting Gardeners' World. I still had some reserves until he left and came back again. These travel shows are where he shines most, I find.
Same to you, G and your kitties ! Now where the dickens is that stork ? :P Xx

ah, gotta love a bit of Monty. He has such a fab storytellers voice. What a lucky man he is to travel to such beautiful gardens around the world.
Happy New Year Miss M and best wishes to the pussy cats too x
